Friends of the Library

What Can I Do As a Friend of the Library?

The Friends organization meets quarterly to plan and discuss upcoming events and projects that support the mission of the Lansing Community Library. Your time, talent, and financial support helps the library serve the community throughout the year. As a Friend of the Library, membership dues and additional contributions help fund such projects as the Summer & Winter Reading Programs, the Lego Club, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, Kids Create, prizes for various programs, and special programs and performers throughout the year.

Your contribution of time and money will not only benefit the Library, but all of Lansing. Your interest in using the Library will encourage your family and friends to seek their own educational or recreational opportunities. Most of all, your participation can bring fresh ideas to promote interest in the Lansing Community Library.
